The Twisp library has a full schedule of summer programs about to begin. Here’s the lineup:
- Tuesdays at 11a.m. (June 21-Aug. 23), Craft Kit Construction.
- Wednesdays, all day (June 15-Aug. 24), STEM Discovery Day.
- Thursdays, all day (June 16-Aug. 18), Board Game Bonanza, bring a friend and play.
- Thursdays at noon (June 23-Aug. 18), Reading in the Park at the Twisp Park with the Methow Valley School District free lunch program. For kids of all ages.
- Fridays at 11a.m. (starting June 3 and continuing indefinitely), Storytime —reading, songs and movement for preschoolers.
- Saturdays at noon (June 18-Aug. 27), Crafturday — kids 10 and older do a new craft project each week.

NCW Libraries will also offer three summer programs — two virtual and one in person — available across the entire library district:
- “Magic Tricks and Secrets.” Professional magician Jeff Evans will host a free virtual magic course at 2 p.m. on June 29. Register at http://ncwlibraries.org by June 20 and receive a free magic kit while supplies last.
- “How to Draw Animals with Erik Brooks.” Join Methow Valley author and illustrator Erik Brooks for a one-hour virtual workshop to learn how to draw animals at 2 p.m. on July 13. Register at http://ncwlibraries.org by July 1 to receive a free drawing kit while supplies last.
- “Science Beyond the Beaten Path.” Library staff will visit every library location during the summer for live, in-person science demonstrations. Check out the online calendar to find an event in your community.
