The Merc Playhouse is auditioning in June for the hilarious comedy “The One Act Play that Goes Wrong,” directed by Mark Easton. This classic murder mystery where everything goes wrong is a physical slapstick play-within-a-play exposing the inner workings of community theater.
The play has a cast of eight, gender non-specific. No theater experience required. Seeking actors, stage managers, lighting and sound operators, costume, prop and set designers.
Auditions will be held at The Merc on Saturday, June 25, at 3 p.m., Monday, June 27 at 6 p.m., and Wednesday, June 29, at 6 p.m. Bring your summer schedule, vaccine card and activewear. Performances are Sept.16-Oct. 2.
