Candidate filing week continues through Friday (May 20) for people who want to run for any of the offices up for election in Washington this year — including many in or including Okanogan County.
Candidates for federal, statewide and multicounty legislative or judicial offices must file with the Office of the Secretary of State. Other candidates should file with the county elections office in which the position resides. - Auditor, 4-year term, incumbent is Cari Hall.
- Clerk, 4-year term, incumbent is Laurie Groomes.
- Coroner, 4-year term, incumbent is David Rodriguez.
- Prosecuting attorney, 4-year term, incumbent is Albert Lin.
- Sheriff, 4-year term, incumbent is Tony Hawley.
- Treasurer, 4-year term, incumbent is Leah Mc Cormack.
- County commissioner, District 3, 4-year term, incumbent is Jim DeTro.
- Superior Court judge, 2-year unexpired term, incumbent is Robert Grim.
- District Court judge, position 1, 4-year term, incumbent is Chancey Crowell.
- District Court judge, position 2, 4-year term, incumbent is Charles Short.
