Participants in the annual Ride to Rendezvous were in the home stretch as they neared downtown Winthrop on May 6. Pioneer garb, and of course the faithful canine companion, were the order of the day during the annual ’49er Days parade in downtown Winthrop. Tomahawk tossing was, as always, a popular challenge at the Mountain Man Camp. It looks like a water tank dunk was imminent. Mounted standard-bearers led off the annual ’49er Days parade on Riverside Avenue.
