NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT a public hearing will be held on April 19, 2022 at 11:00 A.M., in the Okanogan County Commissioners hearing room, located at 123 5th Ave North, Room 150, Okanogan Washington regarding an application for a 20-year franchise by Northwest Open Access Network, to construct, operate, and maintain Fiber Optic lines.

Johnson’s Storage Shed Var 2022-1
Application and Public Hearing
Notice is hereby given that a Variance application has been submitted by Maureen Johnson. The Variance request is to allow wet floodproofing of a 10×12 foot storage shed within the mapped 100-year floodplain, in the Rural Residential zone. OCC 15.08.060(D)(2)(g) allows issuance for variances, for nonresidential buildings in very limited circumstances to allow a lesser degree of floodproofing than watertight or dry floodproofing. The property is lot 3 in the Edelweiss Plat 1, parcel #4910030000. The parcel does not yet have a physical address.
The SEPA Responsible Official has determined the proposal exempt from SEPA regulations per WAC 197-11. The Okanogan County Hearings Examiner shall conduct a public hearing for this application on May 12, 2022 at 10 a.m. in the Commissioner’s Hearing Room at 123 5th Ave N. in Okanogan or by Zoom at the link below. Litzenberger Harnasch Shoreline Project Substantial Development Permit, SDP 2022-1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Ryan Walker of Grette Associates LLC, on behalf of Tyler Liitzenberger and Nancy Harhasch, has submitted a Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application (JARPA) for an Okanogan County Shoreline Substantial Development Permit. The applicant proposes to remove approximately 16.5 linear feet of concrete seawall and to install a permanent 480 sq. ft single use fixed pile pier with a roll-n-go boatlift on the subject parcel. A habitat management and mitigation plan has been proposed to address the impacts to the vegetation conservation area. The shoreline designation for this property is Shoreline Residential.
PROJECT CONSISTENCY: This application will be reviewed in accordance with the Master Program for Okanogan County Shoreline Management, and all other applicable County regulations. The Project has been reviewed and found to be consistent with requirements established by the Master Program for Okanogan County Shoreline Management. COMMENT PERIOD: Any person has the right to comment on this application, receive notice and participate in, any hearings (if scheduled), and request a copy of the decision once made. Any person may appeal a decision in accordance with RCW 90.58.180.
