Hunter education classes
In-person hunter education classes will be offered for free the week of March 21 – 26 at Liberty Bell High School. Classes will be from 6 – 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday of that week, with a field class from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, at the shooting range above Pearrygin Lake. Free park days
The next free days at Washington State Parks are on Saturday (March 19) in recognition of the state agency’s birthday, and on April 22 in celebration of Earth Day. Visitors are not required to display the Discover Pass for day-use visits or on lands managed by the Washington Department of Natural Resources or Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife on these dates.
