Ninteeen valley residents and friends were feted by the Senior Center in Twisp for reaching their ninth decade at a fiesta-themed “over-80” luncheon last week. Florence Gavin, seated at the far right, who turns 94 later this month, was honored with a bouquet of flowers for being the oldest in attendance. It was the first time in two years that the seniors have been able to gather for the party.
