Repair Café this weekend

Methow Recycles returns with its free Repair Café on Saturday (March 19) from 10 a.m. – noon in The Cove parking lot on Glover Street in Twisp. Volunteers will be fixing all types of items, and there is no limit to the number of items you can bring, nor do you need to make an appointment. Items must be small enough to carry, and must not be leaking fluids or be hazardous in any way. You must stay with your item during its repair. April Tool Sale at Community Center

The Methow Valley Community Center hosts its third annual April Tools Sale on April 2 from 9 a.m. –  2 p.m. in the center’s parking lot.

It is not just for tools, but also for furniture, equipment, collectables and anything that is usable. No junk please. Sellers and vendors can book a table or more. To reserve tables, get more information or offer to volunteer, call Kirsten Ostlie at 997‑2926.

To support the Community Center by donating useful items, bring them to the gym on Friday, April 1, from 3 – 6 pm. If you need help unloading, call 997‑2926.

“This is recycling at its best and a great way to find out what your friends or neighbors had hiding in their basement or attic,” according to a press release from the center.
