Postcard Poetry
Confluence Poets has launched a new set of Postcard Poetry, “Uncertain Times: Poems of Healing and Refuge.” The set includes 10 original poems on 5-by-7-inch cards written by poets Subhaga Crystal Bacon, Ken Bevis, Easton Branam, Cindy William Gutierrez, Christine Kendall, Kelleigh McMillan, Merry Maxwell, Eileen (Sam) Owen, Julianne Seaman and Greg Wright.
Each card is illustrated with a different pen-and-ink drawing of a bird, and an additional card is a color print of a California Quail.
The artwork is by poet, artist and naturalist Merry Maxwell. The cards require normal postage. They are available at the Winthrop Gallery, The Confluence and Valley Goods in Twisp.
