• At 5:59 p.m. on Jan. 4, trespassing was reported on Benson Creek Drive in Twisp.
• At 6:28 p.m. on Jan. 4, fraud was reported on Benson Creek Drive in Twisp.
• At 11:52 p.m. on Jan. 5, police and fire crews responded to a report of a porch on fire on Highway 153 in Methow.
• At 10:37 a.m. on Jan. 6, a mail tampering and theft was reported on Beaver Pond Road in Twisp. A person reported two pieces of mail were tampered with. One was opened and taped closed, and $150 in cash was missing.
• At 12:40 p.m. on Jan. 9, an assault was reported on East Methow Valley Highway. A person reported an attempted assault following a dispute about snow.
Twisp Police Department
• At 4:17 a.m. on Jan. 6, an assault was reported on Canyon Street in Twisp. A person reported another person choked them.
• At 12:47 p.m. on Jan. 6, a hit and run was reported on North Glover Street.
• At 9:54 p.m. on Jan. 7, police received a noise complaint on East Second Avenue in Twisp. A person said their neighbor was revving their vehicle’s engine for an hour trying to get it unstuck from the snow.
• At 1:28 p.m. on Jan. 8, a single-vehicle crash was reported near the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway 153 in Twisp. The vehicle reportedly lost a tire and was partially blocking the road.
• At 9:53 a.m. on Jan. 9, a single-vehicle crash was reported on Highway 20. A person found an SUV on its top.
• At 1:51 p.m. on Jan. 9, a vehicle collision with no injuries was reported on East Methow Valley Highway in Twisp.
Winthrop Marshal’s Office
• At 10:34 a.m. on Jan. 3, a person on White Avenue in Winthrop reported their neighbor tried to hit them in the face with a broom.
• At 12:54 p.m. on Jan. 9, threats were reported on Riverside Avenue in Winthrop.
