We are now done with the winter sale, and I believe a lot of people got some great bargains. There was very little left over, and it’s all now in the regular room. The sale room is now being turned into the Christmas room. That will be our next big sale.
We are now on our winter hours, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please bring your donations in when we are open, and if you have any extra grocery bags we can use them.
There has been no word on when the meals will be served in the dining room again. We are hoping it will be soon.
We were all saddened by the passing of one our volunteers, Bev Holcomb. She was also a board member. She put up a valiant fight against her cancer and always was so positive and smiling. We will all miss her, and those who went to school with her will miss her more (another Pirate gone). Our condolences to her family. Also, one of our longtime members passed away — Lulu Bell Ames. She loved life and we all enjoyed making her happy. Our condolences to her family.
