Tennis and pickleball players, be advised: Because of the high demand for local courts, particularly in the mornings because of the heat, and because the Liberty Bell High School courts are being repaired, regular participants have come up with a temporary plan: Pickleball players will have the Winthrop town courts in the morning on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while tennis players will have the courts on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Sundays and evenings will be first-come, first-served. When the high school courts are available, tennis will move there, and pickleball will remain at the town courts.
