Methow Arts’ boat-in concert featuring the Bitteroot Beets last Saturday at Patterson Lake drew a healthy crowd of boaters, rafters, kayakers, paddleboarders — and even a few spectators in pool floaties. The concert was meant to be a COVID-19 friendly way to get a crowd of people together to enjoy live music while staying socially distant in a natural way. The second concert in the three-performance series is scheduled for July 10 and will feature the Gothard Sisters, who are local to the Pacific Northwest and play Celtic music. Methow Arts confirmed last week that the July 10 event will be at the John Doran Ranch north of Twisp. A third concert is planned but details are pending.
