June 16, 2021 by Methow Valley News

Friends and colleagues are invited to a celebration of life for Okanogan County Fire District Chief Don Waller, on July 10 at Winthrop Park. Chief Waller died on Nov. 6, 2019. We are asking everyone to RSVP via Evite at http://evite.me/VwrdmmmFVZ. The link has all the details for the memorial.

Chief Waller grew up in Winthrop and graduated from Winthrop High School in 1973. He served the valley as a firefighter for over 40 years, with a vast majority being Chief of Winthrop and/or Fire District 6.

Don was the son of Paul and Frankie Waller. He was preceded in death by his father and brother. He is survived by his mother Frankie; sisters Karee, Julee and Marcee; brothers Kirby and Greg; son Don and wife Brenda; and grandsons Ayden and Leighton.
