Bike rides
• Starting Thursday (June 10), Methow At Home sponsors weekly electric bike excursions with Denny O’Callaghan, starting at 9 a.m. from the Winthrop Town Trailhead. Limited to six participants.
• On Monday (June 14), Methow At Home is sponsoring a bike ride to Twisp and back with Ted Young, starting at the Winthrop Town Trailhead, from 10 a.m.-noon. Limited to six participants.

Free state parks days
The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission announced it has added Juneteenth (June 19) to its list of free days in state Parks during June. A Discover Pass will not be required for daytime activities at all state parks or on lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and WDFW. Other free days are Saturday (June 12) in recognition of National Get Outdoors Day, and Sunday (June 13) for a free fishing weekend.
