NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Okanogan County Commissioners that a Public Hearing will be held in their hearing room on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. and will be held via ZOOM in the commissioners hearing room located at 123 5th Avenue North, Okanogan, WA 98840. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider proposed levels of assessment from the Okanogan County Horticultural Pest and Disease Control Board for control of horticultural pests and diseases. The proposed level of assessment is “a flat rate per parcel rate plus a uniform rate per acre” as listed in RCW 15.09.135. The proposed per parcel assessment is $1.61/per parcel (46,100 taxable parcels) combined with a tree fruit acreage assessment of $2.25/per acre (27,103 tree fruit acres). The Board of County Commissioners shall accept or modify by resolution, or refer back to the horticultural pest and disease board for its reconsideration, all or any portion of the proposed levels of assessment.

Notice of Public Hearing
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Twisp Town Council will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 via GoTo Meeting.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider final approval of the Twisp River Suites Planned Development submitted by Joe Marver of Twisp, Washington. In order to be granted final approval the applicant must have satisfactorily addressed all conditions placed on the developed as part of the preliminary approval and modifications process.
All interested persons are invited to participate and be heard. Those requiring meeting log-in information or other assistance are requested to contact Town Hall a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled hearing to notify the Town of the type of assistance required. Meeting information will be available on www.townoftwisp.com under Notices and Agendas. Public comment is to be submitted in writing 24 hours prior to the hearing to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Okanogan County Office of Planning and Development denied the above-noted project. Within 20 days of publication, parties with standing may appeal this decision to the Okanogan County Hearing Examiner at 123 5th Ave. N. Suite 130, Okanogan, WA 98840, pursuant to OCC 2.67.010. An appeal must include the $300.00 appeal fee.
