Methow Recycles is offering two Repair Cafés in the coming weeks.
The first is on Saturday (April 24), and will be focused on electrical and mechanical fixes. Next up, on May 8, is a tool sharpening/woodworking session.
All Repair Cafés are from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays at Methow Recycles, 12 Airport Road in Twisp. There is no cost, but donations are welcome.
Drop-ins are welcome, but those with reservations will be prioritized. Reservations will only be honored for the time slot you reserved. Email miles@methowrecycles.org to make a reservation.
According to a press release from Methow Recycles, “in order to hold these events again on a regular basis, we’re experimenting with smaller, more frequent events. This will allow us to be COVID safe. Each café will feature a different reoccurring theme. This will allow for both fixers and attendees to be more spread out over the events. Fixers will only be fixing items that fit with the theme.”
