Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office

• At 8:31 a.m. on April 2, a trespasser was reported at an address on Highway 20 in Winthrop.

• At 7:02 p.m. on April 2, a deputy responded to the area of Rendezvous and West Chewuch roads for a report of an injured deer on the road.

• At 8:40 p.m. on April 2, a deputy responded to Benson Creek Drive in Twisp. A person reported hearing three gunshots. The man reported that he had made complaints against people about animals and that the people were now shooting at him.

• At 11:51 on April 2, a deputy responded to Pineview Road in Winthrop after a woman reported she fired a gun at an intruder. Twisp police also responded.

• At 1:11 p.m. on April 3, deputies responded to a report of vehicle collision on Bear Creek Road. A white Toyota truck reportedly landed on its side in a field by the road. One person was reportedly trapped in the vehicle. Alcohol was reportedly involved. One person had superficial injuries. The Winthrop Marshal’s Office also responded.

• At 1:59 p.m. on April 5, a person reported a TV and stereo stolen on French Creek Road in Methow.

• At 10:26 a.m. on April 7, a dispute between neighbors was reported on Highway 20 in Twisp.

• At 8:25 a.m. on April 8, a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a deer on Highway 20 near Twisp.

• At 4:05 p.m. on April 8, a deputy responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in snow on Lester Road in Winthrop.

• At 5:48 p.m. on April 8, a trespasser was reported at Rader Road in Winthrop.

• At 7:42 p.m. on April 8, deputies received a report of an assault on West Warren Avenue in Pateros. A person reported someone assaulted him and was “chasing him with a Billy club.”

• At 9:09 a.m. on April 10, deputies responded to a report of a tree down on the Twisp-Carlton Road, affecting power lines.

Twisp Police Department

• At 1:12 p.m. on April 5, police responded to the area of Twisp Airport Road and Highway 20 in Twisp for a report of an illegal burn pile.

• At 7 p.m. on April 8, police received a complaint about fighting dogs on Canyon Street in Twisp.

Winthrop Marshal’s Office

• At 12:23 p.m. on April 7, police received a report of a parking dispute. A person reported another person was repeatedly parking in a way that blocked a disabled parking space.
