Twisp’s town offices moved to a temporary location on East Second Avenue last week.
The Town of Twisp’s offices have moved into temporary quarters at 110 E. Second Ave. — former site of the Family Health Centers dental clinic — while a new civic building is constructed.
The old town hall on Glover Street will be closed and demolished to make way for the new civic building, which will be built on the same site.
There will be one entry for the town clerk’s office and the police department office, a small foyer that will be limited to two visitors at a time because of COVID social distancing protocols. Masks will be required for entry.
A drop box is available at the Second Avenue site for utility payments. It will be accessible through a metal security gate when the offices are not open. The ballot drop box for elections will also be at the temporary site.
