Several arrests are pending following a mid-February warrant search at a home on Lincoln Street in Twisp, Police Chief Paul Budrow said this week.
Budrow said the search produced items that appear to have been stolen in a recent rash of burglaries around Twisp, as well as suspected drugs and paraphernalia.
In addition to Twisp police, officers from the Winthrop Marshal’s Office, Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office, Washington State Patrol and U.S. Border patrol assisted with backup during the search, Budrow said.
Budrow said the search will also extend to separate storage units used by the suspects.
Budrow said arrests of four or five individuals on theft and drug possession charges are pending results of tests on the suspected drugs found in the search.
