Samuel R. Clarke II was born March 20, 1963, to Samuel R. Clarke and Beverly A. McCarty Clarke in Newport Beach, California. He lived in California until the age of 6, when he moved to the Methow Valley and was raised by Mack and Jean Lloyd. Sam graduated from Liberty Bell High School in 1983 and worked at various restaurants and grocery stores.
Sam succumbed to a house fire the night of Jan. 30, 2021. He was always happy, friendly and helpful and he loved his cats.
