Mark Thomas Seguin, born March 7, 1957, died of heart failure on Monday, Feb. 1, 2021.
He will be remembered for his years as a volunteer and chief of the Twisp Fire Department. He sat on the board of directors for the Winthrop Rhythm and Blues Festival and was head of security for many years.
Active in his community and volunteer services, he helped run the kids’ Eagles fishing derby every year, and was a past president. He was also involved with the fireworks display at the Christmas at the End of the Road in Winthrop.
His love of the Methow Valley was evident. Fishing, snowmobiling, golfing, boating and so many other things brought him joy.
He is survived by daughter Samantha Seguin, aunt Mary Bean who at 106 may survive us all, uncle Bob Wall, brother Jere Seguin, daughter Aimee Wheeler and grandson Trayce Wheeler.
Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near. So love, so missed, so very dear.
Mark will be dearly missed.
