Three Methow Valley students have been nominated to attend U.S. military service academies by Rep. Dan Newhouse:

• Camylle Jordan of Winthrop, a senior at Georges Duby International High School, has been nominated to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy. She is the daughter of Reid and Erin Jordan.
• Dusty Patterson of Winthrop, a senior at Liberty Bell High School, has been nominated to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy. He is the son of Jeffery and Molly Patterson.
