River-Koa Wallace Young was the first baby born in Okanogan County in 2021, at 7:32 a.m. on Jan. 2 at Mid-Valley Hospital in Omak. He is the son of Jacob and Avery Young of Winthrop. River-Koa weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces at birth. He joins brother Jack T. F. Young, and is also welcomed by aunt and uncle Anne Young and Nathan Young, and cousins Dexter and Brian.
