Any person having a claim against the decedent must, before the time the claim would be barred by any otherwise applicable statute of limitations, present the claim in the manner as provided in RCW 11.40.070 by serving on or mailing to the Personal Representative or the Personal Representative’s attorney, at the address stated below, a copy of the claim and filing the original of the claim with the court in which the probate proceedings were commenced. The claim must be presented within the latter of: (1) Thirty (30) days after the personal representative served or mailed the notice to the creditor as provided under RCW 11.40.020(1)(c); or (2) four (4) months after the date of first publication of the notice. If the claim is not presented within this time frame, the claim is forever barred, except as otherwise provided in RCW 11.40.051 and 11.40.060. This bar is effective as to claims against both the decedent’s probate and nonprobate assets.

TOWN OF TWISP
REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
The Town of Twisp (pursuant to Chapter 61, Laws of 1981) requests statements of qualifications (SOQs) from consulting firms for engineering services for sewer system improvements. Improvements include: upgrades and rehabilitaton of portions of the Town’s collection system, improvements to lift stations, and upgrades to the biosolids dewatering system at the treatment plant. Engineering services will include funding assistance, surveying, environmental, permits, design and construction engineering associated with implementation of the project.
The Town of Twisp reserves the right to retain the services of one consultant for all engineering services, or to utilize a roster to retain the services of consultants particularly qualified in one or more areas of engineering. Statements must specify the type of engineering services the firm desires to provide, descriptions of experience with relevant projects, references, and resumes of proposed project engineers. Project scopes and fees will be negotiated for each project.

The project is funded through the State of Washington Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program with federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the US Department of Agriculture, Rural Development Program.

Notice to file declaration of candidacy. Notice is hereby given that an election of the Wolf Creek Reclamation District will be held November 23, 2020 for the purpose of electing one(1) member to the board of directors for a term of three(3) years. Any legal district landowner interested in becoming a candidate must be sponsored by ten qualified electors of the district whose signatures appear on a petition which shows his or her intentions of becoming a candidate for directorship. Petition blanks may be obtained from the district’s secretary. These signed petitions must be filed with the secretary of said district no later than midnight December 2, 2020 in order that the candidate’s name appears on the ballot. Should the secretary receive only one signed petition for director under the amended State Irrigation Statute 87.03.075 and no regular election is necessary. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT James and Gaye Pigott, 1405 42nd Ave E, Seattle, WA 98112 have requested final plat approval for Cascade Meadows Long Plat, creating 15 lots on 8.14 acres under Winthrop Municipal Code (WMC) Chapters 16.24 and 19.04. The property is located at 1113 Highway 20 in the Town of Winthrop. Staff finds that the submittals substantially comply with the terms and conditions of the notice of decision on file for the plat. The applicant has installed and conveyed mainline water and sewer service to the Town of Winthrop and has improved access via a private road.
Public Hearing: The Winthrop Town Council will hold a public hearing on the application on December 2, 2020 at 6:30 pm, over the Zoom meeting platform. To attend the hearing, please contact Winthrop Clerk at winthropclerk@townofwinthrop.com for a link. The hearing will be conducted in accord with WMC Chapter 19.10. Any person desiring to present written or oral testimony may do so at the hearing, and by doing so shall have standing as a party of record. Any person requiring assistance to access the hearing is urged to contact Town Hall at least 24 hours in advance.
