The Twisp Valley Grange is hosting a virtual candidates’ forum on Thursday (Oct. 8), from 6-8 p.m., featuring candidates for local races.
The following candidates have been invited:
• In the race for Washington State Legislative District 12, Position 1, first-term incumbent Keith Goehner (R-Dryden) and Democratic challenger Adrianne Moore of Winthrop.
• In the race for the District 2 seat on the Okanogan County Board of Commissioners, incumbent Andy Hover of Winthrop, a Republican, and challenger Katie Haven, a Democrat who lives in the lower Methow Valley.
• In the race for the District 1 seat on the Okanogan County Board of Commissioners, incumbent Chris Branch of Omak, who does not declare a party affiliation, and challenger Shauna Beeman of Omak, a Republican.
All county residents will cast votes for the two commissioner races.
