PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Okanogan County Central Landfill, Ellisforde Transfer Station, Bridgeport Transfer Station, and Twisp Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, September 5, 2020 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. All locations will be open on regular schedules Tuesday, September 8, 2020. Winter Hours go into effect September 1, 2020.

NOTICE OF VARIANCE REQUEST
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN By METHOW RECYCLES that a variance from the Okanogan County Health District and Washington State Department of Ecology Regulation WAC 173-350-210(4)(g) (relating to Recycling and Material Recovery Facilities and conveyance of leachate from tipping floors and ancillary areas) is being requested for use of spill containing absorbent socks and related spill control techniques in lieu of surface impoundment, tank or sanitary sewer at METHOW RECYCLES’S FACILITY located at 12 Twisp Airport Road, Twisp, Washington, 98856. Written comments may be submitted to the Okanogan County Health District, P.O. Box 231, Okanogan, WA 98840.
The Environmental Health Director for Okanogan County Health District will consider this request within 30 days of this notice.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 732
(TOWN OF WINTHROP, WASHINGTON)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Winthrop has adopted its Ordinance No. 732, which in summary, amends the 2020 Town Budget.
Said ordinance may be examined at the Winthrop Town Hall during regular business hours or a copy will be mailed upon request.
This notice is given by order of the Town Council and pursuant to R.C.W. 35.27.300.
