METHOW VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 350 OKANOGAN COUNTY, WASHINGTON NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT 2020-2021 BUDGET AND CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that theBoard of Directors (the “Board”) of Methow School District No. 350, Okanogan, County, Washington (the “District”) will hold a regular meeting on July 22, 2020, commencing at 5:30 PM in the district office, located at 18 Twin Lakes Rd., Winthrop, Washington. The meeting is called for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2020-21 fiscal year. Prior to adoption of the 2020-21 budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2020-21budget. Any person may appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2020-2021 budget, the four year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240 (a/k/a Educational Programs and Operation Levy ). Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2020-2021 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2020-2021 budget, the four year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection. 2020-2021 budget information is available on the District website methow.org or may be obtained by contacting the district office at 509-996-9205.

NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 731

(TOWN OF WINTHROP, WASHINGTON) 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Winthrop has adopted its Ordinance No. 731, which in summary, annexes certain territory to the Town of Winthrop, Washington, and incorporating the same within the corporate limits thereof, providing for the assumption of existing indebtedness, providing the same shall be subject to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and assigning a zoning classification.

Said ordinance may be examined at the Winthrop Town Hall during regular business hours or a copy will be mailed upon request.

This notice is given by order of the Town Council and pursuant to R.C.W. 35.27.300.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

INTERIM CONTROLS IN WATER RESOURCE INVENTORY AREA 48

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on August 3, 2020 to take public testimony regarding ordinance 2020-4 approved on June 17, 2020 that adopted interim land use controls applicable to water resource inventory area 48 with the exception of the Columbia River influence that prohibits the subdivision of land according to the provisions of OCC Title 16 and RCW 58.17 repealing ordinance 2019-11. The public hearing is scheduled to meet the procedural requirements found in RCW 36.70.795.  The interim controls allow a narrow exception within WRIA 48 and outside the Columbia River influence as well as outside the closed tributaries contained in WAC 173-548-050 to create one additional lot containing a new legal water supply if the parent parcel currently contains a single family residence.

The interim code revisions will undergo environmental review and be scheduled for additional public hearings before the Okanogan County Regional Planning Commission followed by the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners.

The public hearing will be conducted on August 3, 2020 at 5 p.m. The virtual/telephonic public hearing will be heard over Zoom web application.  You can attend the meeting by using one of the following methods:
