What a beautiful Fourth of July weekend, with perfect weather for the unofficial Fourth parade. We put our 90-year-old Ford Model A in the parade, the first time it’s been in one for about nine years. It had been in storage for that many years before we bought it.
We are opening the Thrift Store at 11 a.m. now on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We are trying to get more people a chance to shop, and we have been overloaded with donations also. We are still closing at 3 p.m. We are short of volunteers right now, so we are only running one shift.
Masks are required and a limit of 30 minutes shopping time, with only five people at a time.
Thanks to everyone for being so patient, waiting for a turn. It’s hard on all of us.
You can still get take out lunches Monday, Thursday and Friday by calling Donna at 997-7722 and getting on the list.
