Qualification Statements for Geotechnical Engineering Services will be received by Okanogan County Department of Public Works at 1234A Second Avenue South, Okanogan, WA 98840, until 3:30:00 pm, July 13, 2020. Questions concerning this solicitation may be directed to the Contracts Administrator at 509-422-7333 or by email at sstidman@co.okanogan.wa.us. Consultants may electronically submit SOQ’s via email. Electronic submittals cannot be larger than 8mb, and each consultant is responsible to ensure the submittal is received by the County.

This is a solicitation for Consultants to submit Statement of Qualifications for Geotechnical Engineering Services for the Salmon Creek Drainage Project to the Okanogan County Department of Public Works. Work shall include exploration to determine parameters for a shallow foundation bridge structure, determining characteristics of the existing roadway and native material, recommending the most cost-effective option(s), providing recommended specifications for the work, consultation during construction, and any other geotechnical engineering services necessary for the completion of the project.
All work shall be performed in accordance with the latest WSDOT Standard Specifications, WSDOT Design and Construction Manuals, and the Local Agency Guidelines.
Consultants shall submit two (2) copies of their Statements of Qualifications. The Statements of Qualifications shall have no more than twelve (12) single sided 8 ½” X 11” pages, including resumes and plan examples.
Each Firm’s Qualifications Statement will be evaluated and scored on the following categories:
Experience and expertise with similar scopes of work for local agencies
Approach to the project and technical expertise
Efficiency and cost savings measures
Availability and proximity to perform work
Examples of projects worked on
Selection of a Consultant will be based on the highest average SOQ and Interview score. The County may interview up to the top 3 candidates based on their total SOQ scores, if deemed necessary.

On-Call Survey Services Contract
This is a solicitation for Consultants to submit their Qualification Statements for land survey services. The selected Consultant will enter into a two year contract with Okanogan County Public Works. Qualification Statements will be received by the Okanogan County Department of Public Works office at 1234A Second Avenue South, Okanogan, WA 98840, until 3:30pm, July 13, 2020. The Consultant(s) selected for On-Call Survey Services shall be responsible for land survey work that may be required by the County over the duration of the contract term. Work may include but is not limited to the following:
• Topo Survey and Mapping
• Boundary and Right of way
• Record of Survey
• Construction Staking
• Stockpile Measurement
Please submit two (2) paper copies of your SOQ, not to exceed 12 single sided pages each, to Okanogan County Public Works Attn: Contracts Administrator at the address noted above.
Each Firm’s Qualifications Statement will be evaluated and scored on the following categories:
Firm’s experience and surveying capabilities
Staff experience
Availability
Accessibility

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Okanogan County Central Landfill, Ellisforde Transfer Station, Bridgeport Transfer Station & Twisp Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday July 4, 2020 for Independence Day. All locations will be open on regular schedules Tuesday, July 7, 2020.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that the Town of Twisp Town Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 5:30 pm at Town Hall Council Chambers located at 118 S Glover Street, Twisp, WA. The purpose of which is to gather public comment regarding the Town of Twisp applying for funding assistance to Rural Development (RD), a division of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). The application is for RD loan and grant monies to be used to finance the Civic Building/Emergency Operations Center.
