CUP 2020-3 Kullas Nightly Rental
Notice is hereby given that Mark Ryan of Ryan & Kuehler, PLLC on behalf of Mazama Petrichor, LLC has submitted a Conditional Use Permit application for a nightly rental. The CUP, if approved, would allow a 1958sq ft. residence to be used as a nightly rental. The nightly rental would operate year-round and would allow up to 6 guests per stay. The site is located at 3 Nordic Village Rd near Mazama, WA on tax parcel number 6240000800.
The SEPA responsible official issued a Final Determination of Non-Significance in accordance with WAC 197-11-340. This decision may be appealed in accordance with OCC 14.04.220. Appeals must be made in writing to the Okanogan County Hearing Examiner, 123 5th Ave N Ste. 130, Okanogan, WA 98840. Appeals must be submitted or postmarked by 5:00 p.m. on May 15, 2020. Appeals shall state with specificity the elements of the environmental checklist and resulting determination the appellant finds objectionable and shall state the reason therefore. Appeals must include the $300.00 appeal fee.
A public hearing is scheduled for May 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioner’s hearing room located on the first floor of the Grainger Administration Building at 123 Fifth Ave. North, Okanogan, Washington, at which time the Hearings Examiner will hear verbal testimony on the issue. Written comments will be accepted prior to the hearing and may be submitted in writing or electronically to rrobbins@co.okanogan.wa.us or mailed or delivered to 123 5th Ave N. Suite 130, Okanogan WA 98840. Written comments may be submitted at the hearing. Failure to comment by this date denies a party standing to appeal the final decision. Notice is hereby given that a Conditional Use Permit application has been submitted by Chance Stucker, on land owned by Roger Sawyer, to permit a tire shop in an existing 3,900 sq. ft vehicle maintenance building. The business would operate year-round, Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. There is no new construction or expansion proposed. The business operation will obtain its water from the City of Tonasket. The site is located at 8D State Frontage Rd Tonasket, WA on tax parcel number 8837600300.

Sealed bids will be received by The Town of Twisp, in the Council Room located at 118 S. Glover Street, Twisp, WA 98856, for the construction of the Twisp Civic Building. Sealed Base Bids must be received by May 20, 2020, 2:00 p.m., local time, and must be marked “Sealed Bid –Twisp Civic Building”. Bids received after this time will not be considered. Sealed bids will be opened and publicly read May 20, 2020, 2:00 p.m. Due to Covid 19 protocol, the public opening will be performed electronically.
