• The Winthrop Kiwanis Bite of the Methow, scheduled for Saturday (March 14) was postponed. Any tickets you hold will be honored at the future date.
• The Methow Conservancy has canceled all public events until at least April 10, including the Thursday (March 19) vernal equinox walk and the March 24 “Share Your Knowledge” event.
• The Methow Valley Interpretive Center in Twisp has canceled the screening of the documentary film “The Winter’s Tale,” scheduled for March 28.
• Katie Haven, who is running for Okanogan County Commissioner, canceled her campaign kickoff event scheduled for Friday (March 20).
• The state Knowledge Bowl championship meet scheduled for Saturday (March 21) has been postponed.
• The Aero Methow Rescue Service fundraiser gala scheduled for April 4 has been postponed.
• The March 27 meeting of the Okanogan County School Retirees’ Association has been canceled.
• The Rummage Room at the Methow Valley Senior Center is closed.
• The Liberty Bell High School entrepreneurism class tour of downtown Twisp, scheduled for Friday (March 20), has been postponed.
• The Methow Investment Network “Pitch Night” scheduled for March 18 is canceled. Applications will be sent out to investor members via email.
• The Methow Recycles Repair Café scheduled for Saturday (March 21) has been postponed.
• April Tools day at the Methow Valley Community Center, scheduled for April 11, is postponed.
• The March meeting of the Methow Valley Trails Coalition meeting is postponed to May 20.
• The Methow Valley Community Center gym is closed. Tenants in the building may still hold classes. Contact your instructor for details and special instructions. The Community Center office is open on limited hours.
• The March 28 Father/Daughter Dance is postponed.
• High Country Line Dancers will postpone all Monday night dances until April 27.
• The fitness center at Winthrop Physical Therapy and Fitness is closed from March 17-31. Physical therapy services will continue to be offered in private treatment rooms. Staff is exploring efforts to provide fitness content by way of “virtual classes” that can be practiced in one’s home. Mobile personal training is available.
• Room One’s community meeting to discuss the progress of the organization’s Youth Homelessness Program, scheduled for March 25, has been postponed.
Arts and entertainment

• The Merc Playhouse production of “Fantastic Mr. Fox,” scheduled to open Friday (March 20), has been postponed.
• Methow Arts is canceling all of its main events through May, and will temporarily close its Twisp office
• The annual Trashion Show has been postponed until Oct. 30.
• The Methow Valley Orchestra (formerly Pipestone) rehearsals are canceled on Thursday (March 19).
• The Omak Performing Arts Center is closed to all public performances until the current restrictions are lifted.
• The Okanogan High School theater club presentation of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” scheduled to open March 26, has been postponed.
• Danville at the Copper Glance on Saturday (March 21) is canceled.
• The March 19 and April 16 open mics at the OSB Taproom at TwispWorks have been canceled. The May 7 appearance by the Local Nomads has also been canceled.
• The following events at the Old Schoolhouse Brewery in Winthrop have been canceled: March 20, Darnell Scott & Mojo Robinson; March 27, Gina Belliveau; April 3, open mic; April 10, Kurt Lindsay; April 17, Uncle Doug; April 24, Carolyn Cruso; May 1, open mic; May 8, the Winterlings; May 15, James Coates.
• The Methow Valley Theater has postponed its production of “The Wizard of Oz.”
• All events at the Methow Valley Ciderhouse in Winthrop are canceled until further notice.
• The April 10-11 performances at The Merc Playhouse of the one-woman show “Bo-Nita,” featuring Terri Weagant, are canceled.
• The Winthrop Gallery will be open Saturdays and Sundays only.
• Confluence Gallery in Twisp will be closed through March 27.
• A two-day celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day in the Methow Valley, scheduled for April 17-18, has been postponed.
