These are extensive projects that will affect many residents during the construction phase and benefit the entire community upon its completion. A Presidential Primary election will be held in the below mentioned districts for the purpose of submitting to the voters for their approval or rejection the following.

The registration deadline for online registrations, mail-in registrations and transfers is March 2nd, 2020. Any qualified elector who is not registered to vote in the State of Washington may register to vote in person at the Auditor’s Office up to and including March 10th, 2020.
You can register or obtain registration forms at the Auditor’s Office, on line at www.votewa.gov, and Department of Licensing.
The Okanogan County Auditor’s Office, 149 3rd Ave N, Room 104, at the County Courthouse, will be open so voters may obtain replacement ballots, drop off voted ballots, obtain provisional ballots, and use the Accessible Voting Units, at the following times.

OCPW Salmon Creek Project SE 2020-3
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Anna Randall, Okanogan County Public Works has submitted a Joint Aquatic Resource Permit Application (JARPA) for an Okanogan County Shoreline Exemption.
The project is the result of a plow truck sliding into Salmon Creek. The purpose is to repair damage to Salmon Creek caused by the plow truck accident.
The project is in Township 34 North, Range 25 E.W.M. in Section 36 at the intersection of Salmon Creek Road and Spring Coulee Road.

Final SEPA Determination
In response to a settlement agreement with Washington Department of Ecology they have applied to remove a rock retaining wall from the shoreline area, restore the slope of the shoreline to the condition prior to placement of the retaining wall and plant vegetation within the revegetation zone. A 25-foot Vegetation Conservation Area shall be planted upland from the Ordinary High Water Mark of Palmer Lake. A 10-foot Fish and Wildlife Habitat Conservation Area shall be planted below the OHWM. Together the 25’ VCA and 10’ HCA areas constitute the 35’ Revegetation Area. The total revegetation area is approximately 3,150 square feet. A total of 110 trees and shrubs will be planted within or adjacent to the revegetation area.
Project Location:
The project is located at 1665 Loomis Oroville Rd, approximately 4 miles northerly of the Town of Loomis, WA on parcel 3926180029, Township 39 North, Range 26 E.W.M. Section 18, within Okanogan County.
This decision may be appealed in accordance with OCC 14.04.220. Appeals must be made in writing to the Okanogan County Hearing Examiner, 123 5th Ave N Ste. 130, Okanogan, WA 98840. Appeals must be submitted or postmarked by 5:00 pm March 6, 2020. Appeals shall state with specificity the elements of the environmental checklist and resulting determination the appellant finds objectionable and shall state he reason therefore. Appeals must include the $300.00 appeal fee. The date of publication in Okanogan County’s periodical of record is February 19, 20, 2020. Failure to file a timely appeal shall constitute waiver of all rights to an administrative appeal under county code.
