Andrew Evans passed away at the age of 40, at his Bremerton, Washington, home on Nov. 6, 2019. Andrew took his own life, after struggling with alcoholism and depression for many years. He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Naomi Evans (Stolberg), and two children Ryah (11 years) and Augustus (7 years).
Andrew was born in the Methow Valley to James “Ron” Evans (deceased March 2015) and Abbie Miller.
Andrew was a loving father and husband, a best friend to many, and the best mechanical pipe superintendent in the Puget Sound. His passing is tragic and will be felt by his wife and children for years to come. His life and spirit touched many people. It is his wife’s hope that his passing will help others suffering from alcoholism and depression to seek help. One life lost is too many.
Other family members left behind are siblings Benjamin Evans, Chelsea Evans, Stephanie Skornicka, Jacob Tucker and mom Sharon Evans.
