The Merc Playhouse in Twisp concludes its summer camp for kids with performances by the students this week. Admission to the four performances is by donation. They are:
- “101 Dalmatians, Kids,” by the Musical Theater Camp (3rd- through 8th-grade performers), on Friday (July 26) at 4 p.m. and on Saturday (July 27) at 2 p.m. The adaptation, based on Disney’s “101 Dalmatians,” features characters from that film.
- “Scenes from Amy Zimmerman’s Metamorphosis,” presented by the Drama Camp (7th- through 12th-grade performers), on Friday at 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The show features many of the characters that are familiar to audiences from common myths and legends including King Midas, Eurydice, Zeus, Orpheus and Aphrodite.
