Liberty Bell High School basketball standout Lauren Fitzmaurice, who recently finished her second season with the Syracuse University women’s basketball team, is the lead instructor for this year’s Methow Hoops Camp, Aug. 12–15 at the high school.
Fitzmaurice replaces former instructor Connor Walsh, who moved from the community. Fitzmaurice, a 2017 Liberty Bell graduate, was a volunteer assisting Walsh at the camp when she was in high school. She appeared in five games during her redshirt sophomore season at Syracuse, where she was a walk-on who earned a spot with the team.

When — Aug. 12-15
Who — 3rd- through 8th-graders
Times — 3rd-5th graders, 9 a.m-noon; 6th-8th graders 1-4 p.m.
Cost — $65; $5 discount for each additional kid
