Libby D. (Bergenholtz) O’Daimhin, 1954-2019

Libby D. (Bergenholtz) O’Daimhin

Libby D. (Bergenholtz) O’Daimhin, age 64, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019, at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. She was born Nov. 22, 1954, in Brewster, to Paul Bergenholtz and the late Jeanne (Hutson) Bergenholtz.

Libby worked at Pearrygin Lake State Park for nearly 40 years and during her time there she made many friends and helped turn the park into what it is today.

Libby was full of love and loved to give, her family, friends, and many an animal were touched by her in this way, she was always helping others in any way she could, she also loved spending time with her grandchildren and would do whatever it took to make them happy, often sneaking treats as parents looked the other way.

Libby is survived by her husband, Seamus O’Daimhin; sons Matt Moore, Brandon Wright, Patrick O’Daimhin, Sean O’Daimhin and Damien Devine; grandchildren Brayden Charette, Isabella Moore, Cannon Hurst, Charlotte Wright, Hugh Devine, Kai Devine and Charlie Devine; father Paul Bergenholtz; sisters Debby DePrati, Tracey Bynum and Kerry Bergenholtz; and brother Daniel Bergenholtz.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Pernell Bergenholtz.

Family, friends and others whose lives Libby touched are invited to the Winthrop Barn, 51 N. Hwy 20, Winthrop, 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 15, 2019, to reminisce, grieve and celebrate her life.
