Rod Weagant exhibit opens at Collapse Gallery in Wenatchee

Rod Weagant’s “Beartooth” will be featured in his solo show at Collapse Gallery in Wenatchee opening June 7.

Methow Valley artist Rod Weagant will have a solo show opening at the Collapse Gallery in Wenatchee on June 7, continuing through June 29. There will be an opening reception on June 7 from 4–9 p.m. at the gallery, 115 S. Wenatchee Ave.

Weagant has been an established plein air artist in north central Washington for the last 40 years. His work has been featured in over 45 solo shows including museum shows at the Frye Museum in Seattle, the Sheldon Museum in Alaska and the Clymer Museum in Ellensburg. He has earned awards such as the National Park Service Art for the Park and the North Central Washington Artist of the Year in 1993.
