Methow Recycles’ 13th annual metal drive at Cascade Concrete in Winthrop last weekend was a big success, Executive Director Betsy Cushman reported. About 350 vehicles, carrying loads large and small, dropped off a total of almost 90 tons of materials, Cushman said, a bit more than last year. More than 50 volunteers helped to unload and sort the materials.
