Audrey Bosco modeled Amy Bosco’s design “Rewound,” which won People’s Choice award at the Trashion Show in 2018.
Confluence Gallery’s ninth annual Trashion Show will once again bring the creative couture of clutter to the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp on May 4.
Artists, designers, models and spectators will share in the creation of spectacular and odd outer (and under) wear made from repurposed items. The runway show features upcycled recycled outfits ranging from street style to country couture, transformed from everyday trash.
This year’s theme is “Trashion Prom.” There will be a bar, photo booth, and the Fork food truck will in the parking lot.
The event will be from 6-10 p.m., and for those 21 and over only. General admission is $20 in advance and at the door. There is limited VIP seating in the front row for $100, which includes early access and a preview cocktail party. There is also limited seating in the balcony. The event is an important fundraiser to support Confluence Gallery’s programs.
