The 32nd annual Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival has announced the lineup for the July 19 – 21 at the Blues Ranch west of Winthrop, featuring Los Lobos.
Also on the stage will be Shemekia Copeland, Larking Poe, The Proven Ones, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ural Thomas & The Pain, the Greyhounds, perennial favorites Too Slim & the Taildraggers, JP Soars Gypsy Caravan, Billy Joe & the Dusty 45s, Too Loose Cajun Zydeco Band, Polly O’Keary & the Rhythm Method, and David Jacobs-Strain + Worth.
The Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival is the longest-running, most successful blues event in Washington state, according to a press release. The festival this past year received the coveted Keeping the Blues Alive award for Best US Festival from the Memphis-based Blues Foundation, which lauded the vent for its strong, long-time commitment to its community and for presenting the best of the blues.
