The Spring Sale is getting bigger and bigger. There are also lots of Easter baskets and basket stuffers, a ceramic birdhouse and other things for spring and summer.
Nancy Acheson was the winner of the gift basket and the pretty pink rose plant last Friday. Enjoy.
Things on the porch are donations to the center — they are not free for the taking unless marked “free.” A large shelf with glass doors was removed sometime on Sunday. Shame on you, whoever you are.
The Senior Center is located next to the Methow Valley Community Center on Highway 20 in Twisp. Lunch is served at noon by the Okanogan County Transportation and Nutrition Program on Monday, Thursday and Friday. The suggested donation for lunch is $4 for seniors over age 60; the cost is $8.50 for those under 60. Annual membership dues are $1.25.
Transportation is available locally for the senior lunch program, and for monthly trips to Omak/Okanogan the second Tuesday of the month and to Wenatchee the third Tuesday of the month. Call 1 – 800 – 635‑4391 for additional details.

FRIDAY, MARCH 1: Tater tot casserole, cottage cheese, cucumber and tomato salad, apricots, whole wheat bread or roll, dessert.
MONDAY, MARCH 4: Scalloped potatoes and ham casserole, green beans, carrot raisin salad, spicy apples, bread pudding.
THURSDAY, MARCH 7: Chili with cheese, baked potato, mixed vegetables, broccoli salad, peaches, cornbread, dessert.
