Two Methow Valley representatives will give talks at TEDxWenatchee/shiftED on Wednesday (Feb. 20) at the Grove Theater on the campus of Wenatchee Valley College. According to a press release, the program is designed to showcase the ideas and talents of those who see a need for a shift in education.
Appearing will be Jonathan Baker, co-founder of eqpd in Twisp, whose topic is “STEM to STEAM;” and Liberty Bell High School graduate Isabel Salas, who will discuss teen suicide. The talks will live-streamed at the Twisp library from noon-5 p.m.
There will be more than a dozen short presentations. Presenters were chosen from a large pool of applicants, according to the press release.
