Lloyd Charles Remsberg, 91, of Twisp, passed away at home on Jan. 6, 2019. He was born in LaHarpe, Kansas, on Dec. 30, 1927. He was the oldest of eight children born to Rueben and Paulyne Remsberg.
He graduated from Winthrop High School and married Ina Marie Prewitt in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, June 14, 1950. Proud father of Betty Rae, Phil, Charlie and Dee.
He served in the U.S. Army in Germany. He drove logging truck for years and worked with son Phil in Remsberg Logging.
He loved the outdoors, especially snowmobiling and ATVs.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, children and 12 grandchildren and 20-plus great-grandchildren, and six siblings.
A private family graveside service was held on Jan. 12 at the Beaver Creek Cemetery in Twisp, with military honors provided by the U. S. Army Honor Guard. A public memorial service was held on Jan. 12 at the Community Covenant Church in Twisp.
