The Methow Trails system is officially open for skiing, fat biking and snowshoeing.
In a press release on Thursday (Dec. 13), Methow Trails said that about 50 percent of the trails are groomed and open, primarily in the Sun Mountain, Rendezvous and Mazama areas. Preliminary grooming will continue in other areas with an anticipated opening of the rest of the system after the next storm, according to the release.
Daily conditions, ticket information, trail recommendations, and a live grooming report are available on the website, www.methowtrails.org and the mobile app (search Methow Trails on your favorite app downloading service).
The Methow Trails network is groomed daily to ensure a high-quality experience for classic and skate cross-country skiers, fat bikers, snowshoers and dogs.
