Join the ‘Madness’ and more in Twisp

December 5, 2018 by Methow Valley News

If you’re not already revved up for the holidays, Twisp is the place to be on Thursday (Dec. 6) to kick-start the seasonal spirit.

TwispWorks will host Gear Up for the Holidays from 4 – 7 p.m. Shop and visit with local artists at the studios of TwispWorks partners and find local, unique holiday gifts and Methow Made products at the grand opening of Valley Goods, the holiday gift store in Your Space@TwispWorks.

The Fork food truck folks will be operating a “pop-up” restaurant out of Kathy B’s Kitchen. There will also be live music throughout the campus, from The Apostles, The Danbert Nobacon Trio featuring Kira Wood and Anna Dooley, and classical guitar by Alex Nicolazzo and Kellen Miles.

TwispWorks coincides with Mistletoe Madness, which promotes other local artists’ shops and businesses that will be open for extended hours. Shop at stores on Glover Street and Highway 20 (and take advantage of discounts, drawings and refreshments), take a free horse-drawn carriage ride through town, listen to carolers, and visit with Santa either on Glover Street or at Hank’s Harvest Foods.

The Valley Goods Holiday Shop and Gift Emporium will feature goods from more than 30 local artists and craftspeople, located in the Hosey Building. Valley Goods will be open every day through Christmas Eve. Hours are 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on weekends.

For information, call 997-3300 or email sprochnau@twispworks.org.
