Notice is hereby given that an election of the Wolf Creek Reclamation District will be held November 15, 2018 for the purpose of electing one (1) member in the board of directors for the term of three (3) years. Any legal district landowner interested in becoming a candidate must be sponsored by ten (10) qualified electors of the district whose signature appear on the petition which shows their intention of becoming a candidate for the position of director. Petition blanks may be obtained from the district secretary. These signed petitions must be filed with the secretary of said district no later than midnight November 13, 2018 in order that the candidates name appears on the ballot. Should the secretary receive only one signed petition for director under the amended State Irrigation Statute 87.03.075 and no election is necessary. SPECIAL ASSESSMENT ROLL
LAKE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT #1
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be conducted by the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), acting as a Board of Equalization, to hear objections against the special assessment levied by Lake Management District #1 formed on August 28, 2018 by Ordinance 2018-14 around Lake Osoyoos near Oroville WA.
A special assessment of $160.00 for every lot included on the district rolls will be collected annually for a period of 5 years beginning in 2019.
The public hearing is scheduled for December 17, 2018 at 1:30 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium in the Virginia Grainger Building at 123 5th Ave N in Okanogan Washington. Objections to the proposed special assessment roll must be made in writing, shall clearly state the grounds for objections, and shall be filed with the governing body (BOCC) prior to the public hearing. Objections to a special assessment or annual special assessments that are not filed in writing as required shall be deemed waived and shall not be considered by the governing body or a court on appeal.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing has been scheduled in front of the Okanogan County Hearing Examiner for an application received from Janis Breeze for a transfer from Current Use Agriculture to Open Space Tax Classification farm and agriculture conservation on their property. The property is located off of Antoine Creek Rd, approximately 14 miles southwest of Pateros. The property can be identified as parcel number 2923343002 located in Section 34, Township 29N, Range 23E, Willamette Meridian.
Open space tax classifications are categorically exempt from the State Environmental Policy Act in accordance with WAC 197-11-800(14)(k). CUP 2018-5 Methow Commercial Retail Cannabis
Notice is hereby given that an application has been submitted by Julie Davisson to permit cannabis retail store in accordance with Okanogan County Code 17A.220.010. The CUP, if approved, would allow an existing 60’ x 30’ building to be used to sale marijuana, marijuana infused products and marijuana paraphernalia to adults 21 and older. The cannabis retail store will employ up to 2 people and operate year round seven days a week from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The site is located at 1096 Highway 153 in the unincorporated town of Methow WA on tax parcel number 0860030700. According to Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) regulations, the office of Okanogan County Planning and Development issued a threshold environmental Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for this proposal. The public hearing for this project has not yet been set. The public is welcome to comment on this project.
