Artist Robin Doggett has opened a new print and design studio located near the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp.
The studio will be open to the public and offer gift cards and printed works made on site as well as selected book titles, paper gifts and stationery for sale. The newly developed space is within the Second Avenue Courtyard group of buildings with access from Second Avenue and from the driveway alongside the Community Commons Park.
The studio offers letterpress printing and design services with a focus on specialized printing for small businesses and weddings, as well as hand-printed gift cards for the holiday season.
“I’m just getting settled so will have a handful of seasonal gift card designs along with journals, and other paper gifts,” Doggett said in a press release. “I’ve focused on creating card designs that use antique metal type and images that originated from collections acquired from the old Lake Chelan Mirror and Quad City Herald newspaper businesses. They have a wonderful, historic feel to them.”
The studio and shop are located at 117 W. Second Avenue (in the blue building behind what was previously Poppie Jo Galleria). Hours are 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information or to contact the artist, email robinldoggett@gmail.com or call (509) 449-1081.
