(TOWN OF WINTHROP, WASHINGTON)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Winthrop has adopted its Ordinance No. 702, which in summary, amends Winthrop Municipal Code Section 3.44.040 by increasing the petty cash fund.

Said ordinance may be examined at the Winthrop Town Hall during regular business hours or a copy will be mailed upon request.

This notice is given by order of the Town Council and pursuant to R.C.W. 35.27.300.

Salmon Creek SE 2018-14

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Okanogan County has issued a Shoreline Exemption to Okanogan County Department of Public Works (OCPW) to conduct emergency repairs on a bridge on Salmon Creek Rd.

The bridge footing is severely undermined, resulting in closure to vehicular traffic. OCPW will pump concrete into the scoured areas to prevent bridge failure. This is a temporary, emergency repair before a large scale evaluation and plan can be compiled. The project will be completed and forms removed prior to October 1st, when the irrigation diversion is closed and flows will return to this section of Salmon Creek.

The project is county bridge footing within Salmon Creek Road Right of Way, Township 33 North, Range 26 E.W.M. in Section 35, approximately 1 1/2 miles northerly of the Town of Okanogan, WA.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION

(Surplus Property)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Okanogan Board of County Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, October 9 at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Hearing Room, in order to take public testimony regarding a resolution which would declare certain County owned property surplus to the needs of the county and would state its intent to sell or dispose of the items so surplussed at public auction.

The public hearing will be conducted on Tuesday, October 9 at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium in the Virginia Grainger Building located at 123 5th Ave N, Okanogan, WA. Verbal testimony will be taken at the hearing.
