The Fabulous Fall Follies takes the stage on Saturday (Sept. 29) at the Methow Valley Community Center, featuring an array of Methow Valley talent.
The Fall Follies is a biennial fundraising event for the Methow Valley Community Center, offering an evening of entertainment along with silent and live auctions.
About a dozen local artists will present music, dance, and comedy, hosted by master of ceremonies Kelly Donoghue. Headlining performers are singers Laura Love, Nancy Zahn, Emele Clothier and T.R. Stewart, and guitarists Terry Hunt and Rico Stover.
Audience members will have an opportunity to bid on auction items that include a season pass for Loup Loup Ski Bowl, tickets to the Winthrop Rhythm & Blues Festival, a four-course dinner by chef Joel Travelstead with music by Terry Hunt, spa treatments, massage, local produce, coffee and wine.
Individual tickets are $20, available at the door. A limited number of tables for eight can be purchased in advance for $200 and include two bottles of wine. Event organizers advise reserving tables early. Light snacks will be served during the event and are included in the price of admission. A no-host beer and wine bar will be available.
Doors and silent auction open at 6:30 p.m. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Live auction items will be offered throughout the evening, with all proceeds supporting the Methow Valley Community Center.
